Goodbye Hornchurch Legend

Recommended Posts

Have been asked to post this by the legend that is,a very sad day for the club, says alot about the man to write these words for the fans.Good luck at your new club mate, thanks for all the memories

It is with great regret that due to new work commitments, my hours at work have changed and I am unable to guarantee being able to make Tuesday and Thursday night football and commit to AFC Hornchurch. I therefore feel it is in mine & the clubs best interests that I find a club which can accommodate my limited availability.

I just wanted to drop a line to everybody at AFC Hornchurch and thank you all for making the last 6 years so enjoyable. I have enjoyed every minute, from the Conference South to the Ryman League, with wins in the Ryman League North and the Essex Senior Cup not to mention great days out such as the one at Weymouth in the FA Cup & Arseley in the FA Trophy.

So, I wish you all the best for the future and looking forward to seeing Hornchurch in Conference South again.

Tomo

great engine like paul scholes but smaller, bye

Scholes never had a great engine in fact. It was his second biggest weakness (at least in raw terms).

Anyway, thanks for many great years Tommo and good luck, if you've ever got a free Sat do get over.

Andy, so sorry to read the news that you are leaving AFC. Hornchurch.

You will not be forgotten for all that you have done for the football over the years,

good luck to you and all the family for the future.

Hope to see you in the near future when you don't have a game.

Was that a deliberate typo with Arseley, Andy?
