Sheerwater FC Management 2011-2012

Recommended Posts

Bailer - congratulations on the new role. I'll see you when we play you on the 26th July.

Loop - good luck with the Sheers job. If anyone in local football deserves a bit of help it's Trevor Wenden.

lol Kev, will be good to meet you again, ps dont think you need to give out your add mate!

TJ mate, I guess that you aren't staying down at Sheerwater this season then?

I'm not having a pop TJ but anyone coming on a forum to express an opinion must be happy to let people know who they are, if you didn't want people to know your opinion (which you are obviously welcome to have) then there is no point in posting!?

Cookie to answer an earlier question of yours, I am not doing the reserves next season as I have been offered a role in the 1st team that I have accepted. See it as a step forward as I have ambitions in managing 1st team football and think I have something to offer the current set-up!

The club are in discussions with a young management team who have expressed an interest in coming to the club to run the reserves, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

I've heard that your young management team got the job?

Had a meeting on Thursday and it has all now been sorted down at Westfield now.

The 1st team managers John Comer and Craig Moore are going to be assisted by Alan Morton, I'm going to be 1st team coach and the GK coach is still Non-League Nigel. The new reserve team management is going to be Alex Palinski and Ben Knight after they left Cobham reserves at the end of last season.

Now that everything is in place I'm looking forward to the new season, with pre-season only a couple of weeks away.

Are you looking to get in anywhere or do anything whilst you are out of action, or are you just going to be Knaphills No.1 supporter?

Looking good at westfield then, all the best with everything to you and everyone there. Got a soft spot for westfield as i played in a very successful youth team there back in the day.

As regards to me, i want to concentrate on getting fit and hopefully back playing (touch wood i can). It's going to be a long year without playing :(

Very pleased for Alex and Ben took a young, young Cobham ressie team and turned over tonbridge angels as well as being well up the suburban league in first half of the season.

They will do well at a setlled club with everyone pulling in one direction
