It's going to be a very hard league to predict Nice Guy, I can see Guernsey, Knaphill, Bedfont Sports, Worcester Pk, Lammas, Hart wit, Eversley, Feltham, Frimley all thinking they can win promotion next season...

No offence to Loop Or YV, But sheerwater are going to 'the easy team to beat', I know a lot of the lads from the side that finished almost bottom and most will be moving on i woukld love to name them all but that is unfair on the players.

 

No offence guys nothing changed at the club when Loop went to the club in January, i think ur a great gaffer but the results were the same, training was poor by all accounts and the reserves a joke and prob the only ccl with no commitee thats why doug chucked in the towel. No one gives a do da about sheerwater when you have knaphill and westfield 5 mins away to play on decent pitches with lights.

 

Im not in no way dissing Loop Or YV , i just think youve both jumped in feet first in the deep end without realizing how hard its gonna be, these forums are for opinions and loop you can private email me and i will tell you who i am..

Wolfman suggests that some of the players are going to leave. Well, perhaps they need to. Or, you'll find yourself in the same situation again.

 

Lots of negativity around bottom clubs. Its easy to pick holes. But from now, your no longer a bottom three club, the season starts again and you start on equal terms with everyone else. With Knaphill attracting players and Westfield too from outside the area you may actually find there's more local players to choose from - not less.

 

The club is due a boost. I hope you do well. I'll introduce myself next season to you and we'll have a pint.

By the way Farleigh Rovers appointed a new manager tonight. Wilson Frimpong takes the reins, previously a coach with Tooting youth, Manager of Ashford (middx) ressies and First team boss at Leyton. He'll be bringing two assistants with him and seems very keen, best of luck to him as well.

I have signed on at every club I have been with just in case, even played for RPV a couple of years ago in goal against Ash Utd. You never know for away games, a car might not make it and you lose a couple of players. I will keep myself fit and join in a bit with the lads at training, if Cookie lets me.

 

Don't really think you can mix playing with management or coaching. One bad game and players look at you a bit differently. Think I may return to the Vets scene for the odd game.

Blimey, didn't realise you were undercover. I'm Kevin. I'm 48. I live in Strathcona Gardens Knaphill and I played at this level for Burpham back in the 90's.

 

Sorry I blew your identity. Reading your comments it would seem you were more than happy to reveal who you are. I'd apologise to you personally if I saw you - but then again I wouldn't even know what you looked like.
