been on holiday for two weeks have stansted appointed a new manager? just wounded as i havent heard anything and like basildon there ant long till pre season as most teams start round 21st/ 23rd june anyone no anything!

really tonys coming back again forbesy as his number two i wounder if scott is going to play as in played with him at takeley 3 years ago and the man was differant class wounder who they will get over there player wise and if they will have a budget

I can't imagine there being a budget. Sponsorship opportunities are very thin on the ground these days & Stansted just don't get the support they deserve.

There struggle then can't see them getting much if the local talent as there ant loads of players up to this standard around this area and u have us sawbo and saffron walden there trying to get the better ones as well so could be a season of struggle for them

Cant see there being any budget available, as we were told the club did not have enough money to pay its bills, so they used the players Vase money.

Players have been told there is no chance of getting this back and that the club will be lucky to survive another season.

 

Bar is losing money hand over fist, so last year the football club subsidised the ba, wjhen it should be the other way round.

 

Merc will use his contacts to get players over there.

Some things never change. That bar has been a bloody pain in the ar$e for years. Tenants who've done a runner, not paid there rent & now this.

Shame on the Stansted public for not backing a successful,exciting,young team,not quite sure how they can lose money on the bar??? mind you they wouldnt be the first club to employ 'dodgy' bar staff,not that im suggesting that that has happened of course.

Spoke to Merce yesterday & I'll be going back there to try & sort out pre-season & get some players in. Probably do a bi t of scouting when I can aswell.
