I'm making this post

(a) to annoy Rhodes, because no doubt there already is a pre-existing thread on the topic!

(B) to record that I actually watched this year's final (because it was on, and it would have been bad manners to switch over when my son wanted to watch it)

© because I have to say I quite enjoyed it.

(d) to say that Amanda Holden looked truly gorgeous! In the words of Elgin Sparrowhawk "Ain't it just!"

Did you miss the semi finals Horace? Well, if you did you missed Amanda performing as the ogre princess from the musical Shrek. Very impressive and twice as gorgeous.

 

Have to say that you will also have missed a treat in Pip and the Puppy who of course sadly did not make the final. Cor Thwoar!! Pip not the puppy!

I refuse to watch this series due to David Walliams, I can't believe he was hired to do the show this year and it was a huge mistake

On the contrary Clffy, I think he's the best thing about the show. At least he stands up to SC.

They just earn more 'dosh', and generally infuriate people with any intelligence a lot more than they used too.

Did anybody watch tonight's (Sunday) show, very entertaining tv and it was good to see that it trounced the appalling Voice in yesterday's ratings which un-surprisingly got shocking reviews. There's something about the Coaches, namely Jessie J, Danny O’Donoghue, Sir Tom Jones and particularly Will.i.am that seems very un-genuine and it's surprising Jones agreed to do the show as his reputation has been ruined.

So who's going to be glued to their tv sets for the Final tonight, I must confess there are some decent acts this year but Charlotte and Jonathan should walk it, Shergar or Mick the Miller style. I wonder who is going to be watching the beleaguered Voice on BBC1 tonight, if anyone.
