Mole Valley SCR statement - new reserve team manager appointed

Mole Valley SCR are pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Howard, in the role of Reserve Team Manager for the 2011/12 season.

 

Club secretary Darren Salmon has this to say on the appointment:

 

"After careful consideration we are extremely pleased to be able to confirm our appointement of Eric and his team for the coming season. We were not going to rush into making a knee jerk appointment and had in mind the type of candidate we feel we needed to take over the post.

 

Following my initial chat over the phone and subsequent meeting with Eric we had a very good feeling that Eric would be working for the development of the young players in the club, through gaining them experience in the reserves, bring quality coaching as both Eric and his assistant Luke are FA coaches with Eric having his UEFA B licence and finally through the progression of players into the 1st team. I am sure that we will work very closely and well over the forthcoming months.

 

This appointment we believe shows that we are serious in progressing the club the right way, on behalf of everyone we welcome Eric and his team and wish them all the very best of luck.."
