So, no English representation in the Final of this English FA competition! Jersey, population the size of Harlow v Isle of Man, population the size of Stevenage.

Final (28 April)

Jersey Football Combination v Isle of Man League

@ The Bowl, Douglas (Isle of Man)

Interesting Journey for Jersey, and also on a 3G pitch!

Can't understand why the FA couldn't have found a Step 2 or 3 ground on the mainland to so both teams had to travel. I guess that they need a crowd so the final doesn't run at a loss

Jersey won in extra time by two goals to one. They go on to represent England in the European stage of this competition in San Marino.

This could have been us (Spartan South Midlands League (Division 2)) had we taken the competition seriously and put our minds to winning it rather than just nonchalantly picking average players from one Club!
