Carl Rook to replace him? maybe back to Ramsgate for Shaun? think he would have kept scoring with good service, ie crosses. CK. knows what he's doing so not to worry.

Possibly,but will they have the signing on fee & besides if I were Shaun I wouldn't be taking a backward step but then again maybe he will think he will score a hat full of goals a league lower. We'll just have to wait & see where he ends up I suppose .

Isn't he mates with Alan Pouton, Maidstone's assistant manager? However, I doubt they have the money and whether he would want to take a step down.

No surprise to me-but agree a big shame-as i think he will score a hatful of goals-even at this level-and it could easily have been at MFC.

If my heart ruled my head-i'd want welford to stay (and he has'nt gone yet-only transfer listed ) but CK is probably right-the head must rule.

 

It was hardly welfords fault that we had no midfielders to give him any type of service-just restricted to waynes corners and free kicks

 

I believe CK cast away braithwaite at the right time -and maybe this is a similar scenario ?

I also would have liked to have seen Welford next season but to be honest since his mid season injury the goals dried up.

 

Still could not fault his 100% effort.

 

I wish him well.

 

Lets hope we can get a replacement who can bag 15 - 20 goals a season
