BOWERS & PITSEA FC ANNOUNCE EXCITING NEW ACADEMY PLANS

Recommended Posts

Following the appointment of Mark Thomas as Head Of Youth Development, Bowers & Pitsea are keen to continue to develop their academy and are looking for managers, coaches and players at all youth team levels from Under 11 to Under 18. The facilities available at the Len Salmon Stadium are second to none in the Basildon area and UEFA accredited coaching will be provided. It would be desirable for new players/managers to have experience at academy or EJA level but open trials will be held at the club in the near future. The club is focused on player development at youth level with excellent opportunities to progress through the ranks and is committed to the local community.

Who's Mark Thomas and what's his background?

UEFA accreditted coaching will be provided, does that mean that the managers of the teams will not be coaching their own boys? Or do they have to be UEFA accredited. UEFA 'A' & 'B' Licences don't grow on trees.

Good luck to Mark in his new role, has to be good for the long term future of the club.
