Will this game be as important to the British game as the tactical thrashing England received at the hands of Puskas Hungary. I doubt it.though, it should be.

How can you play without a recognised centre forward? ans: Ask Barcelona.

Yep-it was good-but i'm happy to stick with the pragmatic approach and the long ball and win games-as opposed to the pretty stuff.

 

Don't forget-its taken Barcelona about 15 years to get to that level ,by having all their teams/academies playing the same way for that long.

 

It does'nt happen in 12/24 months.

 

That given-i agree you have to make a start somewhere-so if our CLUB (still waiting to know what that specifically means) manager gets all the teams playing to the same formula-in maybe 10 years -we'll be towards the top of the nom league echelon.

 

Personally-i like the stevenage approach.
