How can anybody who enjoys watching football not love the way that Barcelona play football.

So many short passes that take them past the opposition whether it be around their own area or the opponents.

Well. here's something for you :

 

Barcelona completed 777 passes - Man Utd 357 less than half of Barcelona's.

 

Barcelona 69% possession - Man Utd 31% less than half of Barcelona's

 

Xavi most complete passes........wait for it ....... 141 of 148 can't believe 7 passes went astray.....lol !

 

Barcelona did a staggering 90 % completed passes, - Man Utd 80%

 

A massive 60 passes was the most between 2 players.............guess who ? .....Xaxi and Iniesta - Man Utd Ferdinand and Vidic 16 passes probably 'cos not being shut down !

 

A grand total of 55 passes from Xavi and Iniesta went to Messi

 

15 was the most dribbles made by.......now let me think.......... Messi of which 10 were completed - Best Man Utd was Rooney with 6

 

Most distance covered in 90 mins was 11.95 kilomerters by Xavi, - Man Utd was Giggs 11.16 kilometers..........how old is he now !

 

Man Utd managed only 1 shot on target and that was Rooney's goal which had a suspicion of off-side

 

...so are we wondering why Barcelona are Champions of Europe !

You're right, sorry FM but couldn't help but to respond to the derogatory remarks when the game wasn't even viewed !

 

Anyway, that's true, really only 5 fouls true you couldn't say that Barcelona tried to kick Man utd off the park then ..lol !!!

Thought Giggs,Valencia,Evra,were outstanding for United,the only shining lights of the night for them.Highlight for me was Fergie telling Rooney 'do as i tell you'.Officials were excellent,especially the Ref. who was not over busy.

Giggs was rubbish mate never saw him whole game... Sorry son ur wrong on that one ...Same as last time these 2 met ...United had the first 10 minutes and then the best team in the world / planet / universe took complete control and won it... If Barca keep that young side together and replace a couple of their older stars then have a bet on them winning it for at least the next 3 years....
