Holloways park

Recommended Posts

Going by the new season ticket form we will be playing at Holloways Park next season.

Does anyone know if we've managed to negotiate any improvements to be made to the pitch in the close season i.e. re-seeding etc.

Has it even been confirmed we're staying at Holloways Park? I know the season ticket form says we are, but it's early days and surely that's subject to change. My concern, with all this talk about potential new players and which ones will stay etc., is that a number of them won't want to play on the Holloways Park surface again and will look to play elsewhere.

If I was the chairman I'd definitely be "shopping around" - and I think he's a shrewd chap, so it would surprise me if he wasn't...

it don't matter wether they reseed the pitch or re turf the pitchor cover it with a bouncy castle unless they have a proffessional dedicated team to look after it the pitch will just return into the mess that it is in now so unless they do that then were all doing nothing but wasting our money on it , in any case it is now to late to make any great changes to the surface for it to be durable no grass will have time to get its roots down deep enough to make the surface stable and durable work should have started the day after the last game.
