As AL was on the transfer list since mid year- so no great surprise,as i guess at end of season he was out of contract

Made good efforts for MFC -but probably the right time for him to leave.

Probably not in the 'hungrey athletic' type mould that CK seeks

His throws will be missed-not his fault we did not capitalise on them enough-but if we retain Cloke-which i hope we do-he has a good throw as well.

All the best to AL-a decent servant to the club-but time for all to move on i guess

Oops, thought I'd posted here that the club have this morning confirmed Aaron's release. www.margate-fc.com. (I'll take a leaf out of Steve Ball's book and blame IE9)

I love the adjectives we all use in football parlance ;such as releasing players; as though they are wild animals .(well maybe )

meanwhile-i have visions of CK out there like a gladiator of old with his net to 'capture' a few more beasts to tame/coach,whilst us spectators await their arrival in the den of vipers-otherwise known as HDP (or is that the council offices ?)

LOL Releasing Aaron back into the wild! Still, Port Lympne wild life park is near-by :)

For those wondering about the terminology, the "releasing" refers to the player's registration.
