Couldn't they show support for the Chairman by regrouping in Div.2 & sticking up 2 fingers to everyone else. That would be far more satisfying. A year down the line & you might have something more secure sorted.

Doog The Queen...think the last few posts by yourself has shown you clearly are the one with issues, maybe it's a jealousy streak that while people in football are going places your claim to fame last season was leading your side to a "creditable" below mid table position in The Reserve Division 2.

Doog thanks for pm . I have tried sending one back but can't on this phone lol . I tried everything I could to stay at padbury even put my own money in and re mortgage .I worked night and day my phone bill while away is £530 lol wife not happy . When ampthill said no to phill and tucker I said no .yesterday morning I rang phill and said I would stay in div 2 at padbury .I then text lads and only 4 said they would stay I had no choice I owe this to them now after all there hard work last season some have been with me years so I owe them a shot at div 1

From what I know they just turned down the most ambitious, wealthy and generous chairman in the areA if not the League and a manager/coach with a playing and management cv to make anyone in his place laughable.

All the best at your new club Champions but you could be leaving behind the two people who were an integral part of your success.

Maybe the manager of ampthill (is it steve goodman) just wanted your players and used you to get them?
