any truth in the Chertsey Rumour ?

I wouldn't have thought so Kroonz. I think the decisions were only made today as a couple of clubs only announced their resignation a day or two ago. 'A little birdy' told me a few days ago that Chertsey still didn't know what league they were being put in. Besides, the Southern League Central division doesn't look too bad now. Two of the furthest clubs have been transferred to the Northern Premier League and one's resigned (Atherstone).

I'd imagine the likes of Soham and Daventry will be more upset with next season's line up than Fleet or Chertsey.

No, it means someone at the FA can't use Excel properly... There's a couple of things like that in the spreadsheet, nothing sinister about it, I'm sure!

1 - Use Excel

2 - Apply common sense

3 - Stand up to the BTK's of the Premier League

Just logged in to see all the summer rumours in full swing! Am sitting by the pool enjoying my last hours before 10 hour flight home which I dreading tonight. I'm not going to comment on anything but to say nothing has been decided on where and what is going on and when it does i will happily let this forum know after the relevant people are told first. Enjoy your time off all, its been great to get away for a few days from football, some of you should try it, we are still in May, we should all take at least a few days off football!

Chertsey Fan, I have no idea who you are or where this information is coming from. The season only finished a few weeks ago and I have not yet had a chance to even sit down with our Chairman, Secretary or my coaching staff who are also away. Its all well and good linking me to every local club but the last I knew was that i was attending our junior tournament at Alywns Lane only a couple of weeks ago. Chertsey were only allocated a League whilst I have been away and I see no absolute rush to come out and confirm or deny anything. I have not seen the papers (and the only interview I gave was about a lack of support financially the town of Chertsey gives the Club) and i am entitled to have at least a few days off. It is not me that has started these rumours and I will only say your information is incorrect. The people close to me at Chertsey know there is a lot more important thing going on in my life than football and business and right now is not the time to give me grief when we are still in bloody May.

 

And yes that was bloody good bite by me...........
