Guernsey FA v Fans Forum XI

 

Guernsey have accepted an offer to play a friendy match against our Fans Forum XI. This is provisional however depending on how many players we can get together that want to play. We have proposed dates etc but nothing has been confirmed. We felt the best way to move forward is to gauge the interest before any more plans are made.

 

The proposed date is Saturday 11th June 2011

 

Kick off will be 3pm or 6pm depending on pitch availability.

 

We will fly out around 10am to arrive in Guernsey at around 11.45am. It is proposed that we then have lunch, play the match, have a buffet after the match and then you are free to explore the local night life. We will stay at the hotel chosen by our hosts and have breakfast in the morning. We will then have the rest of the day to shake off any hang overs before flying back at around 4pm. The return time can be changed if needed.

 

We will aim to raise money for charity by playing this match. I have a chosen charity and will post once I have confirmed with them.

 

We are now giving you a chance to test the proposed inclusion of Guernsey in the CCL next season.

 

The cost for the trip will be approximately £150 per person. This is to be payed by each person travelling.

 

The hotel will be providing all the food and Guernsey FA will be providing the facilities, kit, training equipment etc.

 

I need to know who is interested in travelling and playing so please post your inclusion on this thread so we can monitor numbers.

Count me in son, happy to come along for the ride, but if Weebs or the others who managed the last game aren't available, I'll happily get involved

I, personally, think that all flight costs for Fans Focus players/management should be covered by Guernsey FA as a sort of 'tester' so to speak.

 

Maybe a bit controversial but that's my opinion

Cant make that weekend at all as i have a Judo display to do at a school fete.

If they want a dry run then all the cost should be theirs' £150 plus parking plus a nite out would be around £300.... It's a great idea but I will not be paying £150 ....
