DIVISION 1 Next Year.

Recommended Posts

Leaving.......Chobham F.C....... Hayes Gate F.C......Farnborough North End F.C

Joining......Guernsey F.C........Old Farnborians F.C.(Cody Sports Centre).........Spelthorne Sports F.C. (No Lights)

Also Applied but need F.A. Direction as they already in the League Pyramid.......South Kilburn F.C......Farnborough Res.......

Maybe if directed by F.A. Newly formed..... Windsor F.C.

If all these Clubs were admitted this would make Div 1 into a 22 team league,if no one was relegated from the Premier. This could possibly happen,if no one replaces either Guildford City/Chertsey as promotees.Meaning there would be no Relegation from the Premier.Of course this would be all be by acceptance at the A.G.M.

Can't see Windsor coming our way now but you never know.

The biggest injustice is to Indian Gymkhana as I said on the other thread. I have no say in these things but I urge the league committee to have a re-think on this one.

If second in a step 8 division is good enough to be recommended for entry by the committee, how can third in a step 7 division be considered not high enough?

Stick Indian Gymkhana on the ballot papers for clubs to vote on at the AGM as well (subject to ground grading of course).

I think Indian Gymkhana's home ground is shared with their cricket club, similar to Worcester Park.

i agree a 2 league jump should not be allowed at any level of football , does any one else also believe that this may not happen in any other league ?

I don't see what a few people's issue is with jumping up leagues. Assuming this is about Old Farnboronians, they have gone to the effort of sercuring a proper ground and it would be another team with the correct facilities rather than clubs that share cricket grounds who can't play at home during early part of season and won't ever be able to secure lights.

Lets hope Old Farnborians have tied up a better deal with the Cody Sports Centre, than Farnborough North End did,or else we will have the same problems as last year.

They are a well run club. This would not happen

Cody Sports upped the ante I believe,if they have done it once, they could do it again.Still they could always rely on Eversley to bail them out.

So Iam led to believe cody received money to develop the ground on the back of FNE being there, belly up! didnt have alot of chance Whitby!

Its college leavers. Offers players a path into first team football.
