With Arsenal soundly thrashed Sunday ( who said Stoke don't play football after breaking the record for conceding the least free kicks in a premiership game, 7). Man City our opponents in the FA cup final Saturday helped book Stokes place in Europe for only the 3rd time in our history by beating Spurs( via a own goal) in a boring game, 1-0.

1st time in Europe, knocked out by Kauseslaughten after winning the milk cup. 2nd 2 years later, after drawing 1-1 at home we were put out by the great Ajax side on away goals after a 0-0 draw in Amsterdam.
