KarenBrowne - You seem very knowledgable about the beautiful game, I take it you moved from Welwyn Garden City to York which is why you haven't been back to Herns Lane for over ten years. I suppose 'The Balk' is your stomping ground these days.

Rhodes - For all my five years in Pocklington have never been to The Balk although its only within a ten minute walk. For the record have spent the last dozen seasons solely involved with the Hertfordshire FA

No she doesn't!

Once again, I am nothing whatsoever to do with the Hertfordshire Football Association! I have told you this before at least twice - most notably when you gave Hector Varela my home telephone number so that he could berate me about a charge of playing a player under suspension!

Final score in the 1st team game was 2-0 to eagles. Very hot for footie. Goal in either half settled it. Eagles have apparently lost some players from last season's successful campaign. WGC had a few chances in 2nd half. Their keeper whom I think played both games (i got there for the 2nd game) made a couple of good saves.

Pictures on the cold end soon

Thats an interesting looking ground that you took pictures of today!

Yes it has certainly changed a great deal since I saw Kevin Phillips plying his trade as a full back for Baldock Town

Well he went as a full back youth player having been released by Southampton but was very quickly moved up front 70 odd games and 40 odd goals got him back in the pro game. Superb centre forward.
