I see that Ampthill did a Sven at half time when England played Australia at Upton Park and changed the entire team, I wonder how much Craig Bicknell had to do with that:

A game that Kentish Town kept under wraps today, London Tigers 5 Kentish Town 1

Really good game on my first trip to Garden Walk today. Royston looked really good going forward in the first half. They hit woodwork twice, had one headed off line on post and had a few other chances to score. HT 1-0

 

Hoddy rode their luck and had only one real chance in first half when royston keeper pushed a free kick onto the post. Other than that they were second best but it was all to change in a bad tempered 2nd half as tackles flew in and tempers flared a little..

 

Hoddy worked hard without ever troubling keeper as royston seemed to run out of ideas. Hoddy got reward when a looping header made it 1-1 with about 5 mins left and sneeked another 1-2 in added time.

 

I think Royston will challenge for league title this year.

It's terrible Rhodes that you are not given the relevant information first hand as you are never wrong with any of your posts, I've been sat here at Ampthill since 1.00pm yesterday waiting for this game, perhaps I'll give it another day or so.
