They were better than the other day when they played North Greenford United, especially defensively.

 

Enfield Town put out a second IX and played the better football.

 

Both teams had clear chances to win the game but some outstanding goalkeeping meant the game finished level.

I didn't relise you were on the line...I would of said hello.

 

Enfield Town did field an XI (mostly fringe and reserve/youth players).... Richard Morton played along with Aaron Cato whom some people may know...+ Daniel Jones (whom I think turned out a few times for Kentish Town last season) Daniel Ailey came on in the second half.. Ailey scored a hat-trick in only 45 mins on Thursday night against Goffs Oak.. As Haringey Borough people will know he know's where the goal is.

 

I agree with Pete's comments.. had it not been from some really good goalkeeping at both ends (especially in the 2nd half) the score would of been much different. No footage today (junior cold end was with me) but loads of photos will be uploaded to "the cold end" within the next hour or so. There were a few strong challenges for a friendly game.

 

Junior Cold End loved it at Chalk Lane as he had a ride on the tube to Southgate and back after the game which absolutely made his weekend!!!

Is nobody giving kentish town a shout this season? Div 1, recently relegated. kept the decent playerS and added more pace to the side as well as a couple of experienced heads which were missing last season. good structure to the club now and definitely moving in the right direction.
