Thursday Friendly -- Bedford 2 Royston Town 7

It sounded like a bit of a rout, was the game played at McMullen Park:

The game was at McMullen park. Pitch in immaculate condition. Clubhouse still a no go area due to last season's fire completely gutted out. Changing rooms were not so badly affected still needs some work on them before season starts but just for the sake of their playing facility and set up hope things get sorted for a good club

I think, as you say, Bedford are everybody's second favourite Club like Blackpool were last season, do you know whether the League have sanctioned McMullen Park as being usable, at least for the early part of the season or will they continue to use the Carlsberg Stadium

Am in Spain at the mo enjoying the sun, nice to see all these miles away that Rhodes is still a total d1ck haha.

And how comes I got the Ampthill result all these many planets away but Rhodent missed it....Specsavers I think for the man with no club

No and who said before you brought it up about Bedford?

For your information The Watchfull Listener mentioned Bedford, it's common knowledge that the first thing Club's look for when their fixtures are released is when they will be visiting McMullen Park

Yes

I have to say that I'm surprised to learn you take a match fee for pre-season friendlies particularly when there is no admission charge, it should be a run out for you in preparation for the long campaign ahead as well as the players and not for financial gain!

Clubs pay for match officials in PSF.

I just didn't think you were in it for the money that's all so I'm disappointed that you are taking a rake off from pre-season games and from Club's that need every penny to survive
