Be a brave man to take that on,If you finish 2nd in the League,and get beat in the Cup Final,the season would be judged as a failure.

 

NOT REALLY SMUDGYBOY, DEPENDS ON WHAT MV INFRA-STRUCTURE IS . AS MENTIONED BEFORE ON A DIFFERENT THREAD, THE RESERVE TEAM MANAGERS JOB SHOULD BE TO INTRODUCE YOUTH TEAM PLAYERS ALONG WITH RESERVE TEAM PLAYERS AND GET THEM INTO THE 1ST TEAM SQUAD, WINNING LEAGUES AND CUPS ARE A BONUS........................WELL THATS MY THOUGHTS ON IT.

I'd be a little bit concerned if i won the double and got the sack but people can judge that for themselves. I'd like to wish the new management all the best i have no grudges but i couldn't continue for several reasons.I'd like to take this opportunity in wishing the club all the best for the future and would like to give them my gratitude in giving me the chance to prove my worth as a manager i hope i didn't let the club down even though the treble would of been nicer.:97:

NG - the outgoing manager - who is a good mate of mine - is only a young-ish lad, who took on the role as he looked to come back from injury. Having taken a year out to manage the side, very successfully, he wanted to go back to playing - which i would think most of us would do if in that position.

 

The good thing for him is that he can now move on, and, once he does decide to hang up his boots, he will have a decent CV to take with him. (1 seasons management - league and cup double).

 

On behalf of the club, i would again like to thank him for all his efforts this season, and wish him all the best in the future.

 

"Lucas" - that wouldn't relate to a certain South African centre half would it.

JOB a bit of a poison challice. new manager needs to do treble to improve. step up to new league, will be a big jump. club need to take this into account. well done on double, and good luck to new manager. coffee%20%282%29.gif
