Next seasons kit

Not sure if I heard that we are having a new kit next season,thought someone mentioned it but I may be wrong.Over the years we have had changes to our kits

When I first started watching Hornchurch we wore all White with red trim on the shirts,in more recent years it has mainly been red and White stripes apart from a season where we wore all red (Shocking kit),personally I would leave the kit as red and White stripes but think we should maybe change the away kit

We have had blue and White stripes,sky blue & White stripes and a yellow kit in recent years and I think we should change to a colour for our away kit and stick to it.How about a hoop kit for our second kit,either blue and White hoops or red and green hoops.

 

Also kit design,what was your favourite kit,mine was the connie south kit,to be honest I haven't really liked our kits the last few years,i prefer short sleeves and a kit without a collar,a simple round necked design is far better imo

Dagger did tell me what the original colours were back in 1923, but i cant remember what he said. Perhaps use those colurs as the away kit, providing it was not red and white !!!

As for kit. Can't stand hoop shirts. Reminds me of my most hated team Q.P.R. Wished they had got an 80 point deduction.

Red and White stripes for home kit.

Short sleeved, round neck but dont mind a collar.

 

Hoops remind me of rugby shirts, so no thanks to hoops.

 

As for an away kit, what about Gold and Black or Barcelona style colours?

I hate collars and I hate long sleeved shirts

Red and white stripes all over.

Get rid of the ridiculous white bit on the back.

Vertually all teams above us in the league do not have to do this anymore.

Sunderland and Newcastle play in stripes with numbers on.

If we did keep a plain area for numbers i prefer the Stoke version where it is red and not white.

 

Brazil kit for the away games.

Might just fighten the opposition and supply a few new songs.

Why don't you ask the local schools to enter a competition to design next seasons kit? With the reward of season tickets for all of the school!

Probably a bit too late for next season in all honesty ,could be worth looking at for the season after,a good idea

Just a thought. Maybe have an away kit in the colours of a charity (like Cancer Research) with their logo on it on the back of the shirt . You could have collections at home games for the chosen charity or even 10% of the sale of the shirt to the fans goes towards the charity. It may get a bit of publicity aswell

If there was to be a new away kit I would prefer it to be blue and white hoops because along time ago when we were called Upminster the home kit used to be blue and white hoops.
