One season just over and already word on the street is that Redbridge ( Well, I mean Stansted reformed ) will be a force in the North div.

 

Plus Harlow will be reportedly going in with a big budget.

 

Not forgetting Needham, Leiston, Sudbury and Brentwood.

 

....and we have over 3 months to go yet.....!

Dwight Gayle seems to be a player in demand , Why don't we acquire his services before he joins the stansted exodus to Redbridge .

 

Not too sure what our budget is going to be next season , We have to take into account what the QE is going to cost to run . I suspect its going to be £xpensive

The playing budget cannot be reduced because we will be at the QE stadium? That would be counter productive.

A good point OOT, we need to be pro active now in acquiring these good players if and when they become available, not wait until pre season and see who re signs for us and then decide on what players we will need as all that will be left are the players that are not wanted by other clubs!

If you care to take some time a look thro' the "local leagues" - Essex and South Mid as examples, there are a number of goal scorers who have hit 25 + for the last 2 seasons.

 

Dwight Gayle is one, but there are several others who should be contacted NOW regarding next season.

 

Ben Hammond did well when he came to Town from Levs Green - so why would other not do the same ?

 

I note from a recent article that Steve N is after a "box to box goalscoring midfielder" - I expect there are a few Clubs after the same thing !!

I can rest assure your doubts chaps that in conversations with people in the know the budget will not be cut and if anything else will be increased next season to attract the right additions our management team are seeking.

yep sorry all, it jsut loosk lieka strong liek next year. and without wanting to feed the green eyed monsters out there who read this forum, thsi division is starting to wear a bit thin thats all. we have to earn the right to get out of it naturally, but we have wasted so many opportunities to do so. i rate Steve, and am sure he will bring in some good players, but my point is will it be enough?

all looking good we have moved a lot of stuff to donkey dome no shop and the tea bar is going friday then the stands on the 26th so no more brimsdown ever and hopefully we may be able to host a lot more cup finals.there people have to go and look at the development to see how good it is looking.
