Camberley Town U/18's are up against Aldershot in the Hampshire Cup final so if you are in need of a football fixt? why not come down to the EEB on the 10th May 19.45 ko.

Ahh yes, the Surrey Senior Cup final of 1979. Camberley 4 Leatherhead 1 aet. It was at Imber Court though, not Gander Green Lane.

 

It's not a Mickey Mouse Cup to those of us that are proud to live in Surrey Smudge. It may be to the Londoners with an identity crisis like Croydon or to the teams like Staines and Ashford who can't get to grips with reality and insist on entering the county cup of a county that hasn't existed since 1965 though.

 

Looking forward to Tuesday. A quick swally at The Crimea before the game before watching two of the best U18s sides in the area. I saw Aldershot U18s once last season. They were scarily good so here's hoping our SYL team can give them a run for their money this time around.

Croydon,Surrey.We are Country folk.How does CAMBERLEY ,SURREY qualify for the HAMPSHIRE CUP? Still I suppose if you enter all the Cups,you must win one ,one day,unless your Egham of Course.

.How does CAMBERLEY ,SURREY qualify for the HAMPSHIRE CUP?

 

The clue's in the title of the competition - "Invitation Midweek Floodlight Cup (Youth)".

Anyone who's invited qualifies. This season there were teams from Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset and Wiltshire in it.
