In today's observer Dave Anderson is explaining he may be leaving the club.

 

Im sure i speak for everyone when I say that we all want you to stay but if either way thanks for all the hard work put in by Dave and all the management team for that fact this season.

Interesting, only last week the Observer quoted him as saying Bateman and himself were already planning for next season.

Really hope he stays, think he has been a breath of fresh air... I put a lot of our supposed Plan B down to him!!!

Just seen on his Twitter he had said to someone "Don't believe all you read in the papers", so who knows.

Spoke to Dave about this on Friday night and he said that the interview was all about the play offs and he was just asked about next season quickly at the end, like all of us who knows what the future will bring, but Dave told me he is very happy at Slough, loves the club and its supporters.

Excellent news! I really hope both he and Steve stay and finish the job that they started.

 

We have been an 1000 times better with Steve at the helm and there is a real optimism around the club
