Liss finished rock bottom of the Hampshire Premier League which is a step below so how on earth could they get then get promoted to CCL 1? Imagine that, Liphook who ran away with the league couldnt get promoted because they dont have the facilities but Liss who got tonked every week and finished bottom did.

It would be unfair, agreed, as Liphook have done very well this season.

 

However, in the past, sides from step 8 have been moved up to steps 6 and 7 where there have been gaps. Therefore, it would not be totally out of the question, but very unlikely all the same.

 

I know that Harrow Hill (Gloucestershire side) are trying to get back to step 6 this summer, and have contacted the Toolstation Western and Hellenic Leagues about being moved up along with Tuffley Rovers.

 

Harrow Hill would be moved from Step 8 to 6, and Tuffley from 7 to 6. Both are ex-Hellenic sides and have lights (101% sure ) as well as necessary facilities.

Common knowledge that hayes gate and chobam will resign from div 1 and with south park and farnham gaining promotion that would leave div 1 with 15 teams the inclusion of Guernsey and spelthorne take it to 17 with i reckon 1 place to fill. Windsor and old farn will both be in with a shout to get in possibly both.

windsor guernsey and this seasons champions wor park , surely that has to be daunting for the rest (if guernsey are as good as thought and windsor will surely fly back up the leagues)

Will be an interesting A.G.M. Have heard that old farn have got cody in place. FNE may be given a lifeline if they can sort a ground out.

Really? When we played Cove at end of season they were all excited as they had a new backer that was going to lift the pitch up and put in a lot of money. Cove seem to have suffered because the neighbouring new houses have stolen their water mains so cant get any water on the pitch. It was shocking when we played there with a 10ft circular area that my kids could have played sand castles in! Cant' see how a ground share is going to do anything but make the pitch worse. The water board need to sort the mess out that they have created down there, nice people at Cove and they deserve better
