This evening at League Two Aldershot Town's ground sees Badshot Lea take on Ryman League side Fleet Town in what promises to be an interesting final.

 

Kick Off at the Recreation Ground is 7.45pm

 

Entrance fee £5

 

It would be nice to see some fellow Combined Counties players/managers/supporters in attendance

We are at Godalming Town for a further year all signed and agreed by Ryman League. New ground now on the horizon.

CHEERS IN THE KNOW, THANKS FOR LETTING US ALL KNOW, YOU KNOW I HOPE THEY LOOK AFTER THE PITCH BETTER NEXT SEASON AS IT WAS POOR THE COUPLE OF TIMES I SAW IT THIS SEASON.

 

YOU KNOW I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE ELSEWHERE BUT NOW WE ALL KNOW. WHEN DID YOU KNOW, WAS THIS RECENT ? I ASSUME THE PLAYERS KNOW, 'COS SPEAKING TO ONE OF THEM ON MONDAY THEY DIDN'T KNOW ?

HE MIGHT KNOW NOW, BUT THEN HE MIGHT NOT KNOW NOW. BUT WE KNOW ABOUT THE NEW GROUND WHICH HAS BEEN PLANNED FOR YEARS, SO HOW DO YOU KNOW ITS ON THE HORIZON................!

 

I REALLY DON'T KNOW ........LOL !

Sounds likea cracking game – taken from Fleet Towns live feed:

 

Fleet went 1 up just before half time

 

B/L equalised 2 mins from the end of normal time then went 2-1 up

 

Fleet equalised then went 2-3 down

 

Fleet equalised again with a minute of extra time remaining

 

 

Badshot Lea won 4-3 on penalties

 

 

Congratulations ITK, Tiny Temper et al

Just back from the game. Well we always seem to do it the hard way. Finally after losing in the previous 3 finals we have managed to get over the line this time on pens. Fleet were very direct all there goals coming from headers. We scored from a corner (Darren Blake) to take it to extra time. Then two well worked goals from us scored by sub Adam Prentice and leading scorer Marcus Cousins looked to have won it for us but we conceded the third right on the final whistle taking it to pens.

Liam Stone was the hero saving the final penalty which started unbelievable scenes at the end. Well done to Fordy, Dyse and the players on this achievement. We certainly proudly flew the CCL flag tonight against Ryman opposition.dance%20(2).gif :yay:

Well Done to Badshot Lea. Always good to finish the season with a final and to win it is great. This cup has taken on great significance in our area and is always eagerly competed for.

Would be great if Sandhurst could win the League Cup as the two previous winners have been Cove and Camberley.

All from the same local area!
