And for what it's worth in my view:

 

Best Ground: Rugby - I didn't go to Cambridge City so not sure how it compares but I think Rugby definitely are one to watch for next season. Cracking stadium deserves to be at a higher level

Best Food: Daventry

Best Programme: hard to recall one better than our own.....

Best Hospitality: Rugby - made to feel very welcome and we beat them on penalties.

Best Opposing Fans: Hitchin - we've had a bit of a love in over the course of the season but they did travel in numbers, they did deserve to be promoted and we're modest in victory (just edging Rugby)

Best Opposing Player: Christian Nannetti (sp?) - at Ashford - made a very ordinary team dangerous

Best Team Faced: pains me to say it but Arlesey particularly when they whipped us with ten men

Best Atmosphere: first half of the play-off semi at Hitchin

Best Game: close run thing between the spanking of Biggleswade and the grit of Daventry - but beating Daventry after their 17 straight wins shades it for me

Worst Ground: AFC Hayes

Worst Food: Arlesey - could do with opening the tea bar more than two minutes before kick off

Worst Programme: AFC Hayes

Worst Fans: AFC Hayes - just for the lack of numbers and some of the comments this year

Worst Opposing Player: Tilbury

Worst Team: harsh to say but Atherstone once they'd given up on the league were pretty poor

Worst Atmosphere: away to Beaconsfield simply because it had nothing riding on it - shame to have the "derby" as the last game of the season

Worst Game: Erith in the cup. Dreadful.

I can only take into account the games which I went to, but here goes.

 

Best Ground: Hitchin Town

Best Food: I don't recall buying any food at away grounds, so would have to say ours.

Best Programme: Ours.

Best Hospitality: Hitchin Town.

Best Opposing Fans: Hitchin Town

Best Opposing Player: Christian Nanetti (Ashford Town Mx). From what I saw of him at our place, he's wasted at this level.

Best Team Faced: Hate to say this, but Arlesey.

Best Atmosphere: AFC Hayes after the "We got you booked" moment!

Best Game: Hitchin Town (h).

Worst Ground: Plenty to choose from, but I'd say Northwood.

Worst Food: See best food.

Worst Programme: Beaconsfield's - overpriced with no real content. Atherstone's wasn't much to write home about either.

Worst Fans: I don't recall many opposing fans throughout the season, but there were 1 or 2 bigmouths (and a group of chavs by the anti-terrorism barbed wire!) at Chippenham.

Worst Opposing Player: Danny Tilbury for the elbow on Ben Abbey.

Worst Team: Again I could choose a few here, but I'll go with AFC Hayes.

Worst Atmosphere: Erith, if indeed you could call that an atmosphere! If you can't, then the game at Northwood was like watching a funeral, even though we won 5-1.

Worst Game: Erith.
