Good luck to Cobham tonight. Everyone at Farnham is hoping then can pull off a shock win!

 

If its not to be then we will be the first ones to congratulate them.

 

 

i'll second that - think it will be a close game looking forward to knowing the outcome.

I'll be along watching so will try update on here as and when.

 

We beat them 2-1 at their place earlier in the season (after conceeding after about 20secs!!!), so hopefully it will be another good game (as good as can be on the dustbowl). Hopefully yhere will be a decent crowd too.

 

Gutted I can't play.

I agree with you about Worcester Park. Although our records are pretty similar and we have taken 4 points off them this season, the amount of goals they have scored, and by the looks of it everyone chips in with them is impressive!

 

Not going to lie tho........... I hope they get beat tonight and we win the league.

 

Are all of your Bedfont team staying at the club and trying again next season for promotion or will a few of you go to other clubs?

Wp have been consistently in top 4 for a while an i think its the best 1 ive seen this year a group of mates thats been together for a while like at lammas when we won it!! That gets you points in a season as the commaraderie is stronger excuse spelling !!

I think as is the same for every team some will go majority will stay but i know the gaffers looking at players already so fingers crossed we' ll go again next season an just make it next time ! Football is strange mate but we can all look back at games an say the ifs an buts apart from the champions mate!! Honestly thought that when we beat you an south park was a huge step then to go an throw it away against teams we dominated but hey i love football the ups an downs are why we play !!

Newby Marvel - Fair and honest post mate. I would agree that the top four sides in the division were way ahead of the rest but it does come down to the games that you think you will get results and end up getting beat in. We certainly had games that we should have easily won but got nothing, football has a way of bringing you down to earth just when you think your on top of it!!! Good luck to you next season.

Was 4-0 when I left with 20 to go. WP weren't great but didn't have to be as we were poor and gift wrapped the goals.

 

Congrats to all at WP though, as the league table doesn't lie and the best team over the whole season won it.
