fair play to them they got the job done and deserve to go up after their consistency the last 2 years

 

always thought winner of Hitchin vs Slough would go up and it proved that way though who knows if we would have beaten Daventry

Was at the match today and have to say hitchin deserved it though Daventry shoud have scored, in fact im not sure how they didnt. They had a shot which hit the crossbar then the back of the keeper then the post and wen wide a minute after that they hit the cross bar again.

As the boy says, a fairly even game with Hitchin being able to finish better.

 

Not a spectacular game, but both sides were steady and played sensible football.

 

Gate of just over 1000, and it looked like it was only the boy and me who were there from Slough - did see Darren Salton and family.
