President's Cup Final Tonight

Hard luck lads,I would of gone if it had been at a more convenient venue and I know that others would of gone as well.

Why on earth they would stick it at a ground in west London on a bank holiday is beyond me,hang your heads in shame, bet there was no more than a handful of fans at the game

It wasn't actually in West London, it was in North London. I can't think of a better venue unless it was played at Staines or Hornchurch. But you're right, there weren't many there. 61, I believe. Staines had a full reserve side captained by Scott Taylor (300 or so Football League games), we played the kids plus Nathan Philip, Mike Bowditch, Tam and the Lone Spencer. Fair result in the end, but the lads gave a good account of themselves and Staines reckoned we edged the first half. Last Capital League game at Brimsdown tomorrow: much more convenient, not a bank holiday, so no doubt EU will be there.

Possibly

If we want to be picky butch Harrow is actually middlesex but is classed as north west London

Surely somewhere like Potters bar would be a better venue where fans could get to it a little bit easier rather than have to put up with the M25 and then getting through the north west London roads in the evening when everyone is coming home from their bank holiday day out.

Better still, seeing as the last time the two clubs met in the final it was played at Staines then maybe playing it at Hornchurch may of been fair

As for tomorrow, may pop over but doubt it as one hopes to be working

Perhaps we should start next season with the under 18's and add a few experienced players with them.

My not get promotion but set a foundation for the future.

Would have thought Frankie Williams was worth a few Sub appearances this season.
