Eversley - Bookham Reserves

Maybe someone could clear this up but when Bookham reserves arrived at Eversley yesterday and discovered that they weren't playing on the main pitch ( due to our game with fne ) they refused to play and went home!

They travelled all that way and went home!! I would have played it on the cricket pitch outside clubhouse!! if thats true ...madness!!

Not quite correct NLN.

 

We made a mistake with the availability of pitches. On behalf of the club,I would like to apologise to Bookham FC for this error.

 

FNE required a pitch at short notice and whilst trying to accommodate them,we agreed with the league on Friday to move our reserve game to our second pitch. However there was also a cricket game scheduled at short notice,which meant this pitch was not available to use.

 

As stated above,we apologise for this error and especially for wasting both Bookham and the officials time.

I am sure the League will deal with it in a Lenient Way,just goes to show caring for others,is not always in your Best Interests.

Just for the record the League were ALREADY dealing with it on Saturday afternoon from Meadowbank.

 

(Sorry if this is a bit presumptuous Whitelaw, but lets get the 'story' right !)
