If im honest im not the sort of person who cares if i or my team are liked mate i like winning an have been lucky enough to win alot as a player including this league twice! I live for the moment i would of loved to of gone up id be lying if i said otherwise but id prefer to go up as a champion!! We threw it away ourselves !! Am i bitter ......... Not at all just do it all again next season thats why we all love football an ill still celebrate after every win no matter how big or small!!

MVSCR 1-4 Molesey

 

Disappointing end to the season for us, as we were comprehensively outplayed by a very good Molesey side.

 

We didn't help ourselves by gifting them three of the four goals - first one poor throw by keeper, intercepted by Molesey winger, goal from resultant cross; 2nd was a needless penalty; and fourth saw keeper and right back go for a ball wide on the right, only for right back to head passed keeper into path of forward, with open goal.

 

Still - Molesey were good value for their win.

 

Have to be happy overall with the season, we hoped for mid-table, realistically wanted to finish out of the bottom 3, so to end up 8th, and with a semi final place (although the less said about that performance the better), is better than we could have hoped for.

That's what happens when you have 7 different teams playing on one pitch mate...and no real regular groundsman as such.
