Park come from behind with a late late penalty that the referee waved away, only go with the the assistants flag and his words "I think he had more of a hold than the striker" and they both seemed puzzled as to what to do for a bit, very odd, but I'm not going there

 

Very tight game and was gutted to lose!!

 

On another note, congrats to South Park on promotion, very well deserved. Good club, good team and Molly's alright too

Deserved 3 points today for Wars against a well organised and battling display from Sheers. Jansen with both goals for Wars. If Sheers had a finisher up top they would not be in the position they are in as they do try and get the ball down and play.

Downside was the dismissal of LOOP!!sent off for ???????????

 

Referee decent performance!

For once I was not loud at all but because he didnt deal with you 2 kids he thought it was appropriate to send me for constant abusive when it was someone from your bench that shouted his way! How the ref got it wrong I will never know but the laughter from your bench said it all! Wattsy I can see how you got in to trouble mate.

As for the ref if you are on this site which I have been informed you are then do the decent thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loop I seriously thought the ref had a decent game. Doug was too wound up and that followed through to the players..... I agree my player handled the ball but he fell at the same time and for Doug to try and get him booked ....

 

When the ref came over to me he said to me not to rise to it !!

Tucks, if I was you I would think the ref was good as he gave everything your way. Well done anyhow.

 

In my defence as one of the strikers I came out of retirement at 36 to help the Sheers after three years out, unable to train and just can't clear the rust.

YV We all know how that ref works on experience so you have to just get on with it. Every decision was contested by Sheers today and it never helped your cause. As for you YV!!! You need legs around you that support you quicker. A couple of half chances first half but no one near you at the right time. Good individual players on the ball just need the footballing brain and that will come with experience!

Just wanted to congratulate Kev Rayner, Roly, the players and my fellow committee members at GCFC for this season. Just got in from tonights celebrations...a massive achievement to win the league and thoroughly enjoyed.

 

Great to meet TRS at todays game and a nice selection of highlights as per usual! Also thought hospitality was great today so well done to all those involved at Meadowbank today.

 

Here's to another completed CCL season, congrats to all involved at all clubs!

Well done to all at South Park

MVSCR 1-4 Molesey

 

Disappointing end to the season for us, as we were comprehensively outplayed by a very good Molesey side.

 

We didn't help ourselves by gifting them three of the four goals - first one poor throw by keeper, intercepted by Molesey winger, goal from resultant cross; 2nd was a needless penalty; and fourth saw keeper and right back go for a ball wide on the right, only for right back to head passed keeper into path of forward, with open goal.

 

Still - Molesey were good value for their win.

 

Have to be happy overall with the season, we hoped for mid-table, realistically wanted to finish out of the bottom 3, so to end up 8th, and with a semi final place (although the less said about that performance the better), is better than we could have hoped for.

 

Got a few piccies yesterday, including Footy Mad doing his thing.

bedfont sports never counted their chickens at all, we knew all along that come the end of the season it would be very tight. Thats why our celebrations against South Park and Farnham were like that as it was obvious they were must win games to stand any chance of promotion. Given your comments on here i guess your not so gracious in victory yourselves! Congratulations to Farnham & South Park and good luck in the premiership hope to see you there in 2012-2013, not that we are counting our chickens as you or us might not be there!

It was, indeed a great day.

 

In Bookham's defence, you can't say they didn't have their chances. An early goal-mouth scramble should have given them the lead, and in the 2nd half they missed two possible sitters. Nerves probably, as if they'd struck earlier, I feel they would have got a couple.

 

Did I speak to Sweeney ? I must have but I still don't know who he is !

 

TRS, Spurs Fan were on their usual form, and it was indeed nice to meet and greet Whitelaw. Hope you and your fellow Committee members enjoyed your day, Alan. I trust Brandon kept your glasses adequately filled.

 

Myself and the majority of the Dorking Officials helped Bookham out on what was obviously going to be a busy day. That's what friendship and RESPECT is really all about.

 

City fans were, as always, impeccably behaved. Thanks guys, and good luck with your appeal !
