Very entertaining second half. Also hit the post and had one disallowed. If the K's had held on, they would have made the play offs.

 

 

Rollercoaster game (didn't do my blood pressure any good at all!) got sunburn again...good final game of the season :-)

After twenty minutes I thought we were gonna get hammered 5, 6 or 7 nil cos the boys (us) were all over the place. WW gave us a little hope just before half time but a mountain to climb would be an understatement. Whatever was said in that changing room at half time (oh to be a fly on the wall) did the trick cos the guys came out and gave the Ks a run for their money and made them play for their play off place - history will tell because the guys salvaged a very notable point from a game that most thought we had lost before the half time whistle had been blown. WW was well deserved of MOM and to be honest his comittment showed in his performance second half and also the fact James Pinnock taking the mantle from what looked to be a tired looking Tom Bradbrook worked wonders as he scared the crap out of the dodgy Ks defence. To be fair to the Ks they looked to be cruising this game and any other time I think our guys would have probably rolled over and let them........ NOT today these fellas had the mental/physical strength to push forward at every chance and I for one was proved wrong - bring on next season under the watchful eye of our new (lol) manager. CMON YOU BLUES.:excited:

Completely different team second half. Much, much better. Thoroughly deserved a point, and perhaps could've sneaked the win. First time in a long time that I've actually enjoyed a home game, and don't think I was the only one. Certainly a more enjoyable atmosphere amongst the home fans. Cracking final game to the season; has whet the appetite for next season!

Hi a Ramsgate supporter here.....Thought I'd take in your final game of the season. The K's took the first half, you the second, draw a fair result.

 

A great fight, well done, oh and thanks to both teams for a very entertaining match.

I thought the substitution of Pinnock replacing Bradbrook made the difference.

 

Not pinnnocks greatest fan these days-but did more than ok yesterday in his proper position of deep striker-effectively a forward midfield player so i guess in second half we were 5-4-1 with midfield in a diamond.

 

That enabled 'gate to get some control in midfield.

 

Now we have'nt got the best midfield in the world anyway-and in first half -we were simply overrun in midfield giving kingstoniam complete control of the game.

 

If you have'nt got the quality-overcome it with quantity-thereby having an extra midfield player in second half -we got some possesiion back and made a few chances.

 

 

Midfield is the key to any game-win midfield-and you will win most games.

 

Central midfiled is where you need the numbers.
