I agree, Reading usually send quite a few players on loan to conference south level. A few at staines and ebbsfleet this year i believe.

 

Would be good to get a relationship going there

Given the Bateman/McDermott connection, I'm slightly dissappointed there we haven't benefitted from it in the way we did with Mickey Lewis and his Oxford connections, or Eddie Denton with his Brentford contacts i.e. loan signings, friendly etc.

 

I'm sure there is a perfectly good reason for this, but it might be worth considering if it hasn't been thought of already?

Just throwing it out there, I know he is in the conference now with Luton, but people have been asking for a big tall centre forward who will put it about a bit, how about trying to get Lloyd Owusu back, i notice on twitter he was going to watch us in the play off final so obviously still takes an interest in our progress!

 

oh yeah and we can resurrect the song Lloyd Owusu is Brasilian, Lloyd Owusu worth ten million!

Yeah but thats the point Richie. He plays for Luton so was a 5 minute drive from Hitchin.

 

Im not being pessimistic here but I would go and watch the playoffs if say Hayes and Yeading were in them but I wouldnt start supporting them.

 

I'm sure he does still keep an interest but I think he has a few more years professionally left and also we couldnt afford him as if he is playing for Luton thats his full time job and we cant afford a full time players wages.

would be amazing if Lloyd Owusu ever did come back but as said not sure he would drop down to us quite yet. probably depends on if he has any sort of business ventures away from football and therefore his football income could drop enough to be viable for us.
