From Simon Moores blog we have

"I have every reason to believe that the Fans Forum is being manipulated for political and personal reasons. Of particular interest is 'Blue Toffee' who joined on 26th April. He invariably writes in the middle of the night and early in the morning and while claiming not to be 'obsessed' with me in any way you will notice he has one and only one subject of interest. I would urge fans to compare him and his style, with another mischievous and frequently malicious character who has appeared regularly on all the other local weblogs over the last four years with the same narrow interest"

Who might that be..............Simon Moores????

In his latest blog it seems we are all also subject to our brains "blocking out facts that contradict what we like to believe"........something Simon Moores would NEVER do!!!!!!

And finally Moores when you write about the Ministry of Defence note it is spelt with a C not a S that you used plus I was always taught that the Union JACK flys on ships at sea not on aircraft where it is the Union FLAG

Just been watching the royal wedding - what a wonderful event. Just to add some spice to Simon's life, I thought I'd mention it in full day light. Is he becoming obsessed with me?

On another point, do I gather that it's OK for him to use the web for personal / political purposes, but not for others? How very democratic!

OK, now I'm genuinely intrigued about Moores. It's his fantasy that I'm obsessed, so here goes.

Thanet Council legal bill for fighting residents' campaign hits £20k - http://www.thisiskent.co.uk/news/Council-legal-hits-163-20k/article-2222234-detail/article.html. Pot, kettle and black. Guess who's quoted?

And guess whose banner fell off the back of his aircraft on Christmas Eve? http://www.thisiskent.co.uk/news/House-hit-falling-banner-towed-councillor-s-plane/article-3032935-detail/article.html. Now I'm no expert but I'd have thought an experienced pilot use to towing things would check it's tied on properly!

And I'm finding out how many people he seems to rub up the wrong way. A rare skill or a fact of power? Hmmm, POWER!!!!

These things do keep stackin up against the person in charge of planning - wait a minute, unless somethiong goes wrong - then it's the process he's overseeing.

No, I'm sure I've got that wrong.

Right, time for bed. I'm on lates tonight!

Simon Moores will be wondering why we are getting on his back mainly here.Well as far as I am aware it was he that took up the challenge once he got 555 signatures against this. Signatures, incidentally that no-one bar the council seem to have seen. Do they even exist?

He advises the planning committe I believe. He is the one who, mainly,is holding this up through his so called knowledge of planning. He was the one representing the council at the Westgate meeting.

He might know a lot about planning, certainly more than I anyway but on this occasion I believe he has made an error of judgement. It seems to me that he has been bending over backwards too, in my opinion, to see to it that we don't progress.Sorry Simon Moores but thats the way I see it.

If we ever do go to court & get compensation I hope its from the individual councillors who have "goofed" on the occasion & not from the ratepayers. Those that decided we should be given the knock back .Out of their own individual pockets would be just dandy & justifiable in my opinion.

Finally for Simon Moores benefit.Try understanding the MFC football fan. Appreciate that we have been let down over many years on this and understandilbly we are all very frustrated. On this occasion we know we could have gone on,we knew the club had it sorted perfectly for the council to approve & thats whats bugging us more than anything.

To get things wrong & be knocked back is one thing but to get things spot on & still get knocked back is another altogether. You cant blame us for wanting to vent our frustrations on both yourself & the council as a whole, on this matter.

Good point Cookie, particularly after today's match - what a great 2nd half. I don't think Moores does understand.

He can always be a little clearer on the develeopment but as a policitician my bet is he won't. He could say that he's in favour of the development but that theres a process to follow through. But he never does! He always puts the process in the way, an excuse for not supporting the club. That says to me that he doesn't want to. It's absolute rubbish to say he can't come down in favour because of his office. That's like saying the health minister can't talk publically about GP commissioning!

Well, his time is up, he's wriggled enough and my vote will definitely NOT be for him. But he seems to know what's coming. He's already talking about whoever gets in.

Still, I seem to have his attention.

Come on people, change in the council chamber will be good for MFC!

I have no opinion of Cllr Moores as a person I don't really know him so can't comment. I do object to his views on the development at Hartsdown Park. Correct he has put proceedure and regulation ( wrongly in my view especially in light of the published letters and guidence ) as his excuse for stopping the plans going to amendment and was it not the council who asked the club to try and reduce the development of the hotel so it would have less impact on the park. Was it the council who left the amendment clause of the original agreement with the club and ask for £100,000 for a full paning application for the lesser development. was it not the council who gave the club assurances that this would be delt with as an amendment. It seems that this council not for the first time has gone back on it word and made many errors one that could cost them or should I say us in court.

I was speaking to someone at the game yeaterday and he said he thought the council had misjudged the felling over the Football Club. Football is an emotional sport and fans are emotional and the council do not grasp this. Look at Charlton Ath when they started their campaign 'get Charlton back to the Valley' they had Cllrs elected to the Greenwich council. The council has got this badly wrong, another error of judgement and it may cost them.

Cllr Moores has said this forum is being used for Political views correct me if I am wrong, who made this political the Tory's by publishing the development in their manifeto.

As I have said before if the Tory's backed up their words of support of the club by finding a solution, as they could if they wanted this to go, through they have been silient. I found out yesterday that the club e mail the Leader of the Council for an urgent meeting which was sent prior to the Lowestoft game, when the plans were rejected I believe , again correct me if I am wrong, they have not even received an acknowledgement of their e mail, HOLLOW WORDS OF SUPPORT. Oh by the way I have also not received an e mail back from my local sitting Tory Cllr on his Views of the development. Well we can all have our say on Thursday, and as we are going no where with this Tory group we would not lose with a change of administration.

The fact that we are all voters doesn't seem to have registered with him, if he can treat his electorate with such disdain shows the arrogance and ignorance of the man. I would love to know what his real agenda is with this issue, but as Bluetoffee says he never makes himself clear. What chance hasThanet got with people who obviously don't cate about the area, and only cate about themselves. This man is meant to serve us, but he is totally self serving, lets just have some truth and plain speaking instead of all the side-stepping and polictical rhetoric, even if it's what we don't want to hear, just be truthful.
