Pitch at Cove is in a terrible state, there's one patch close to the centre circle (stand side) which is particularly bad - enjoy your time on the line.

I'm off to Sheerwater v Warlingham

Where is everyone going to be for what is the last 'full' Saturda of CCL fixtures?

I am happily attending Cove v Camberley...

1st half, Chobham v Farleigh 2nd half, Sheerwater v Warlingham (provided young vet sorts out sky for chelsea v tottenham afterwards) otherwise it's a drop down to the elite and Tooting Bec v Coulsdon

You're aware the Tooting Bec game isn't at RPV aren't you? According to Mitoo it's at Wallington S&S (Crescent Rovers) with a 2pm kick off.

Very tight down the bottom of that league. I've asked the secretary whether it's two down or four down this season but he hasn't replied so far.

I will be watching Egham Town, of course, all the while praying for John Hamsher's first win. Trouble is we are playing Badshot Lea. I remember the season when we signed off with a comfortable 3-0 defeat of Dulwich Hamlet at our place. Will we ever reach that standard again?

Yes thanks vpctfc, crescent rovers are away so tooting hired it

Coulsdon have been told it's 4 down, Coulsdon on a good run at the moment, 3 straight wins, 8 goals against 1, beat Oxted 3-0 at Oxted on Monday and the keeper never had a shot to save. I think looking at the fixtures if they beat tooting I think they'll be safe. Technically they need 4 points

Is this 4 down thing a new Rule being introduced by Leagues, seems as though Sussex League are adopting a similar strategy, but along the lines of not having the correct ground grading,if a CLUB THAT HAS A GRADING,finishes 2nd bottom but has a Ground Grading, the Team that finishes 4th Bottom but has no ground grading, will be relegated. There is after all only 16 Teams in the Surrey Elite League, makes no sense relegating 4,in my opinion.

Lets hope not that would mean going in the Zamaretto no where as good as the combined counties Up the Egham :pine:

Tooting are on a good run as well. One defeat in their last ten games.

Burpham have done themselves no favours by not being able to field a team for their last game tomorrow so, with three games to go, Tooting, Coulsdon and Horsley look likely to overtake them.

Answering Smudge's point, the Elite League started off with four going down being replaced by the top two in the SSEC and SCIL(W) but they were considering changing it to just two down with one up from each. The league's only three years old and is only just beginning to settle down as a few teams have withdrawn mid-season in the past two years so most clubs have been reprieved and last season only three came up as FC Triangle either couldn't or didn't want to. I think they were based in Sydenham so a county-wide league may have been a bit too much travelling for them which is understandable although, unless they've changed their name, they're not even running a side this season.

Ex-CCL side Wrecclesham have won the SCIL(W). The other promotion spot is between Abbey Rangers (who appear to be a progressive club) and Milford & Witley. In the SSEC, AFC Cubo and Weston Green Sports will finish top two.

If they do relegate 4, only the bottom 3 will go as tongham are resigning, returning to the surrey combination

How many are going down this year in Div 1 ? We have sheerwater today ...are they safe or are they def relegated or do they had to win today to stay up ..... ! This whole thing is a shambles when it comes to whose going up and who's going down - the fact we don't know and we are at the end of the season is a joke! Feel very sorry for Bedfont Sports - football is all about moments and is the reason we all play I'm sure they will be listening to the result from SP today but I dont think the celebrations will be as big as if they scored a goal to win promotion or that final whistle goes and the changing room erupts! Champagne everywhere :) I think I have started to dream lol

Meadowbank for Bookham v Guildford City.

I will also be making the short walk to Meadowbank, see you there!

Best behaviour then, TRS.

None of your usual 'cussing' and baiting the officials. Best bring yer camera as well. Guildfords presentation and some CCL Officials will be in attendance, hence another reason to be a good boy !!
