Very nice of you to say so Mr O, you would never catch a Romford fan rejoicing when Hornchurch lose a few matches, and when mighty Tonbridge put seven past you it spoilt our whole weekend. Might be an idea to arrange a pre season charity friendly to see who really is the top team in Havering, with the winner choosing the charity.

There's probably very little between the two sides. You would probably have the edge on us physically, and Romford are almost certainly the better footballing side.

As to playing Romford, the game will have to be on OAP specials day so that their fan can get in.

The so called dodgy keeper only came on because of a couple of acts of deliberate thuggery to our first choice GK. I probably remember it more because the victim happens to be my son in law.

 

Good idea about the OAP specials day though, it might be a nice touch if you could arrange a fish&chip supper for us after the match, and then get Rob to take us home in his new taxi.

Not for a very long time Hasbeen. IMO we need at least one successful team, preferably two, in Havering to reignite interest in non league football.
