Bradshaw (Chertsey)

Defreitas (Guildford)

Cooper (Guildford)

Cox (Chertsey)

Treacher (Chertsey)

O'Regan (Chertsey)

Johnson (Cove)

Pratley-Jones (Molesey)

Gibbs (Guildford)

Greaves (Guildford)

Page (Chertsey)

Shennan from Hanworth Villa would run Greaves and Page very close, as he has had a great season.

Team is based on players we have played against or for us this season.

Bradders: is the best keeper in the league, and been brilliant for us.

Defreitas: is very strong, gets forward as well and very impressive when i have seen him

Cooper: techincally excellent for a centre back, set pieces top draw as well, a very good player.

Cox: for an 18 year old has had a great season, moving to play in the US now, and will have a very good career

Treacher: Consistant, haven't seen a better left back at this or Ryman 1 level. Solid, gives you the same game, week in week out.

O'Regan: following his unbelievable start to the season 9 goals in 4 games, he lost a bit of form over the winter, but 23 goals from a winger who is only just 19, great season

Johnson: is Johnno, holds Cove together, every team needs a Johnno, organisation, disapline not to get beyond the ball and a good passer. Great Captain

Pratley Jones: impressed me when we played Molesey, again a young lad, but good passer and good engine. Molesey's best player in my opinion.

Gibbs: Great runner with the ball, sets the tempo for Guildford, proper player and a good future.

Greaves: Strong as an Ox, scored a lot a goals and important goals for Guildford.

Page: Been excellent since he signed before Christmas, 34 goals in as many games, 2 good feet, quick, strong. Phil's had a great season.

Can't agree that B/Lea underachieved JJ - they will be 6th in the League (10th last season) and have reached a Cup Final - plus they hold the "Local Derby" bragging rights having done the League double over Cove & Sandhurst whilst taking 4 points each off Camberley & Ash. wink.gif

Hanworth Villa would be my team of the year - massive improvement with many of the same players

Badshot Lea are ground sharing and applied for promotion and there budget is astronomical.........

They have achieved a local cup final by beating: Yateley, Liphook, Eversley and Fleet Spurs........with respect, hardly world beaters are they?

I would say that the local cup final only glosses over what should have been a promotion push...........

and 6th place is a poor finishing place for a team that has the budget and players and ground to go up!

Hanworth Villa team of the year.

Camberley underachieving if they finish 3rd ?

If we are going on money then at the start of last season Cove would have been favourites for the league :)

Guildford right back

Cooper( Guidford)

spencer (molesey)

Treacher (chertsey)

Gibbs (guildford)

Moody (chertsey)

Mcshane (Molesey)

Griffiths (camberley)

Greaves (guildford)

Page (Chertsey)

The front 2 is the hardest decision as any of the top 5 league scorers Page, Greaves, Mepham, Shennan or Pomroy would get in any team in this league.

looking for a bite Kroons??

Here it is......

Camberley were meant to be in the conference by now according to the Camberley chairman. The budget is high enough to be forcing the issue of a proper promotion challenge of which they were never really involved in. No decent cup run to speak of and another season without any success. It also seems that the big move has stalled too! This i'm sure people will agree is under achieving!!

The start of last season?? Camberleys budget and expectations were triple of Cove's which is why you have applied for promotion the past 3 seasons and Cove havent!

Cove's expectations each season are to finish as high as possible, maybe a top 6 finish, and hope for a cup run or some silverware from somewhere! Camberleys is promotion every season and yet again fall short. Not surprised when you have ex cove and Baggy lea players!

Just a quick point JJ, and a bit of truth regarding the matter. I think 99.9% of people knew the claims were unrealistic about Conference football but how many other chairman have stated the same? It happens and has probably served to galvanise Camberleys local rivals but its the Chairmans club and his call what he expects or think can be achieved.

When the Chairman came in he funded the training ground from his own pocket, the pitch was relaid and a second youth side was started up that has gone on with the original youth side to produce some decent footballers as well as probably being the most successful youth set up in the area, he stated at the time that he would rather spend his money on this than players wages, again his perogative and one that most would agree with..

Regarding the budget havent a clue what it is this season but at the start of last season it was identical to Koo's having spoken to him on numerous occasions I can honestly say I believe what he tells me. I also know Koo had his budget cut during the season even more so after the pitch problem but at the start of the season they were the same. Neither I would say would be seen as budgets that would guarantee to be involved in a promotion race and have stated to a few at Camberley when I was there we couldnt afford to sign certain players from Badshot Lea, Cove and even Ash, and we lost players to Badshot Lea and Chertsey who were offered better deals, fair play to both clubs and players its something you deal with, so while we had a competitive budget the same as a number of clubs in the division we certainly werent giving out huge money no matter what you have heard.

All the best for whatever you do next season mate.

May have something to do with your ground being nowhere near capable of going up JJ ? One would think it would be better to get the ground ready than pay players ? Just a thought ;)

Based on who ive played against (second half of the season)...

GK - (South Park) Wastell?

RB - Baker (Warlingham)

LB - Worcester Park (think he is a twin or the fella up front for WP just coincidentally looks exactly like him - pretty solid and pacey)

CB - Cecil (Warlingham)

CB - Worcester Park (smaller of the 2, gobby, one that never shuts up moaning and gets involved in everything - good player though)

RM - Little blonde kid (Choo Choo - number 7 i think?)

LM - Felix Dean (Warlingham - watched him against Knaphill, tore them apart, then done his cruciate unfortunately)

CM - Bunyan? (Farnham - tall guy, captain I think).

CM - Philip John (Hartley Wintney - according to their team lineup against us a few weeks back, made things tick for them)

CF - BBM (just needs to get on the weights and not claim goals that go wide) dance%20(2).gif

CF - Baldock (Staines) or WP Giant (Number 9)

GUV it makes you wonder why you got the sack. 4 of your players have sunk without trace.
