Groundsharing.

Had an interesting chat last Friday with Mr. Nick Robinson(Ryman League) regarding this issue and whether a decision had been made regards C.C.L. Clubs extending their current Groundshare.The main stumbling block seemed to be that in his opinion,that the majority of Clubs groundsharing,had their own facilities,and should improve their own grounds up to the standard required so as to play in C.C.L.1,and that when their game is finished,they go straight back to their parent Club,for post match drinks,leaving the host Club out of Pocket.When I explained that all C.C.L.Clubs partake of at least a couple of drinks after a game,before leaving,he was not convinced.I also told him that the Fees of upward of £5000 that these Clubs had to pay, helped Ryman's Clubs in these difficult times.He commented that they were not homeless, like Epsom and Ewell who had nowhere to play,but did they not sell their ground, for whatever reason.When I informed him of Clubs being denied improvements by Nimby's and Local Authorities,he seemed unaware of this situation,which seemed strange.Reason the said Mr. Robinson,Referee's in C.C.L.1,so must get to chat,to Committee Members on his travels surely.So uncertainty still abounds in my eyes,regards next year,no wonder no one has answered my previous questions regards this matter,as no one has made a decision yet,IT SEEMS.And no I did not introduce myself,but found him a parking space,that really did not exist.That's me obliging to a fault.
