So this season over all

Not being a long time fan of the sport or of Billericay Town FC for me this has been the best season for the club (since i've been around)

All things considered we have been in and around the play-off's and considering the dreaded snow blip to even get close was IMO a credit to the management for getting the lad's back on track.

 

The Essex Senior Cup Final for me was one of the best moments (besides beating the cl@rets in the play-off's) of the five years (is that all) since i've been around.

 

I've said this before and will say it again Craig Edwards has delivered exactly what he said he would when he started here, So all credit to him and his team for delivering his promise (and on time)

 

Fair play to the core supporters for travelling week in week out to support the Team & Club you lot are a credit to the club

 

To top off the season it would be great to see the SHOE ARMY out on Saturday for the last game of the season.

I generally agree with you BB and winning the ESC was a fitting reward for the efforts of the Chairman, Management, Players and Supporters.

 

Unfortunately, I have been around a lot longer and remember many good times over the years. The standard of football in this league has deteriorated in recent times, not helped I am sorry to say, by too many below par match officials and too many player movements. I think Town had well over 50 players donning a first team shirt this season !!!!

 

Don't get me wrong, I think we have a friendly, well run club and I believe that when we played good footballing sides, we saw the best of our team. Sadly, few teams in this league meet that criteria.

Its been an exciting finish to the season.
