ESL Reserve League 2011/12

Is it going to happen or not? I was told on Saturday by an Olympian League committee member that there had been no notifications to withdraw from any of the ESL reserve teams currently playing in the Olympian League. Any club secretaries wish to comment?

 

Furthermore, I was in Bowers' clubhouse yesterday and was told that Bowers' reserve side will be playing in the Southend Borough Combination League next season. I've no idea whether that's true or not.

wouldnt it make more sense for the Bowers and Pitsea first team to enter the Southend Borougn Combination League at least then they might not be scrapping it out with Clapton every season for the wooden spoon.

anyone no the full consitution for the league last i heard the teams that have applied are Takeley, Sawbridgeworth, Stansted, bowers, clapton, hullbridge, great wakering, waltham abbey, barking, barkingside and Burnham any other teams that have entered?

Was told that there would be an ESL reserve league for this season about 2 months ago and laughed it off as this always gets bandied about every year.

 

But... After speaking to someone last night who was interviewed for the Hullbridge reserve team job, it seems that there is most definitely going to be an ESL reserve league; will all be confirmed in the next few weeks. Should be interesting!
