Reserves 2 Maidstone Reserves 2

Is it two who go down ?

We could easily be relegated to league 2 thenrelying on chatham only getting one point from their remaining two away fixtures

I imagine our club manager will not like that as persumably he wishes the reserves to be playing at as high a level as possible.

Not quite such an ok result on saturday with the reserves losing 5-1 at thamesmead

(whilst not expecting the club to exactly give CK's full job description-i hope in the next few weeks, the club can expand a bit on what the role of 'club manager' is seen as encompassing-and personally hope that it includes some responsibilty for the reserve side via the respective reserve and academy managers

Beckenham Town withdrew their team from the league a few weeks ago leaving a spare place in the league. Hopefully this will allow 2 teams to come up and only one to be relegated.

from the team that started the season i have had the great pleasure in watching both the players grow from nervouse kids into confident young men who, as proved today are capable of holding their own against and beating some of the better teams in the league. This is not first team football we are talking about micheal.

The nature of reserve team football is that you never have a constant team. Your better players move up and younger ones come in ie, Quainy, Langiano etc, who starred in that great victory at cray early in the season are know 1st team squad regulars. At Thamesmead we did not have Anthony Woodward, Chris Lewis ( both scorers today against Maidstone), Martin Austin had to be substituted early when he was taken ill.

2nd 1/2 we played Courtney Robinson as striker. He had scored 1st 1/2 from a back post header and had 2 more back post headers somehow cleared of the line and ,1 just over 2nd 1/2.

This is the nature of reserve football.

Hi BB,

relax,relax.

You surely want your players-developing though they may be -to be competing at the highest level possible-as i imagine does the club manager-.

Forgot about the beckenham situation so hopefully more of div one again next season.

Is Jordan wells still looking promising ?-as someome else posted-we could do with a midfielder or three in the first team.

Watched the game (when Tom let me) and enjoyed what I saw. Lots of running and getting into positions to support the play.
