Not quite on the scale of TC's mum though Mewey ;)

I'm guessing jj thought the ref was bringing back play in that incident, rather than just booking the player and then restarting?

Exactly TRS.

If he had said " Cove throw but i'm booking the cove player for the repeated foul" i would have saved my voice until later on. Instead the whole cove team set themselves to defend a freekick which was bound to be put into the box! Poor communication on his part but to be fair i thought the ref had a decent game. He tripped himself up when he finally booked Marcus Cousins (Chertsey skipper) after the ref openly admitted it was his 5th foul. I then made my 2nd offence of the game and got booked but i'll take it for the team as they were just about to get us on a counter attack and we were short of numbers! I didnt want to have worked my socks off for 88 mins to then let chertsey get a winner!

From my understanding Chertsey are promoted.

Guildford have failed there grounding and Chertsey are now guaranteed as one of the best 2 runners up, along with Whitley Bay.

Party at Egham tomorrow i think!!

You're probably right but Arlesey thought they were promoted until two days ago. I'm not suggesting Chertsey have played any ineligible players, I know Chris and he's a fine secretary, but there could be something else that springs up. What happens if Guildford win their appeal? The FA are due to announce which teams can go up on Tuesday. They probably already know and maybe they've notified the clubs but until the fat lady sings etc.

Good luck to whoever goes up anyway.

Ref was fine overall, although that high feet free kick seemed six of one to me...

Have to say, can't say I remember too many shockers this season. I guess the BBM/hole in the net incident stands out, with the ref seemingly looking straight at it, coupled with the dozy lino as the Farnham guy launched at the Warlingham player later in the game.

As Krooner would no doubt agree, when you take it alongside some shocking defending and some shocking misses then I guess it's all evened out!

Feltham 0 Warlingham 0

Dire game and only one real chance in the game when our forward unleashed a thunderbolt which young Whitby got the slightest of touches onto the bar. Looked like the season had taken it's toll on the Wars who had the bare eleven.

Shame Tucks didn't stop, I was going to get him a drink in, yes Smudge, that's right!

Down sides of the day was Brunty having his car broken into. Felt bad for him and hope the CCTV picks up the little sumbags!! Then we had the same referee in which I slated on a post here, but it was played through good terms so I'll say no more :applaus:

Dire end of season game. No real chances, the second time I have had this referee this season and he is POOR!! Sorry didnt stay Wattsy had to get over to hornchurch for a suprise party for 7pm!

Gutted over Brunty's car hopefuly something will come of the cctv.
