Lesley has just informed me that she won't be voting Tory either . . . good girl!

What you did not tell who to vote for.

Slacking Harvey

No, not slacking Jim, It's just that i'd be afraid to go to sleep if I tried telling her what to do.

The list of people not voting for the Tory's is growing, that is without the people who do not post on this forum, maybe the people are reclaiming back the power.

I heard today that some fans are trying to make contact with other groups who are fed up with this administration like thePiermont Park group to try an organise a campaign against this TORY ADMINISTRATION.

Well, there are some good ones there, although I agree that it would be good to see the Tory rule end. I just think there seems to be a sense of arrrogance and incompetence that follows them around. I hope they get a good spanking at the election in Thanet AND that the Tory government learns the lessons before the next Genral Election.

Just so as TDC know what they will be denying the youngsters of Margate & surrounding areas should they continue to to put barriers in the way of this development.

If only someone from the Council were there yesterday to witness ALL the youngsters on parade yesterday,I'm sure they would be thinking again about their decision.

Its still not too late TDC to show you really DO care about the community & the heart of this town,....the football club, where there is so much more going on than just football. These children are the future.

Dont deny them their security,their education,their skills,their fun .

You, the council, can have a big say on all of this if you can only take off those blindfolds & see sense.

Its not just about a football ground/club for the oldies, there are the youth to consider in all of this too.

Conservative candidates should be minded to speak to their peers at Norwich about the effect of football in the community and reflect on their opinions before pursuing this manifesto item.

Other candidates would also be wise not to misjudge the sense of ill feeling regarding the treatment of Margate Football Club by TDC.

All Conservative candidates wake up and smell the coffee, this affects the vote of all football supporters in Thanet.

May 5th looms but its not too late for some positive action in writing please. E-mails are good.

And if you're not sure who your councillor is, here's a full list of sitting councillors on the TDC website: http://tdc-mg-dmz.th...ndex.aspx?bcr=1

And here are the list of candidates for the election: http://www.thanet.go...%20district.pdf

Don't forget that the Tory manifesto doesn't talk about supporting the club, indeed you could imply the reverse!

Only had labour visit me in Beacon ward, not usually one to vote. Will make the effort this time due to the farce this bunch have made over MFC and Piermont park. Lot of People I speak to feel the same about this shower!

I notice Bob Bayford, Tory Council Leader said of the proposed Westwood Cross / Sainsburys development: "It's good news that a company that's as well thought of as Sainsbury's is looking to make a further investment in the area. That commitment and the news of additional jobs for Thanet is something that I'm sure everyone here will welcome."

What a shame he doesn't think the same about Margate Football Club.
