BLUES v Croydon Ath Kick off is at 3PM

Recommended Posts

Billericay will be hoping it’s a ‘very’ Good Friday at home to Croydon Athletic as they continue their quest for a Play-off place.

Last Saturday’s defeat at Wealdstone now means the Blues must win their remaining three fixtures to have any hope of a play-off spot.

Boss Craig Edwards will be looking for a vast improvement in performance in a game the Blues must win. He’s likely to have his ‘Player of the Season’ Micah Hyde back in contention but Charlie Allen may miss out with an ankle injury.

Should the Blues be victorious, they will close the gap on fifth place to just a single point, but will have to wait and hope that Saturday’s results go for them.

Croydon Athletic are almost certainly relegated as they need the nearly impossible task of winning their three remaining games and overturning a 35 goal deficit to avoid dropping out of the league.

A large crowd is expected at New Lodge for the Good Friday fixture, so please arrive early if possible.

Ian Cousins will be making his 101st appearance for the BLUES in todays game
