Oh well, booked into Travelodge at Canterbury (by mistake, really, I meant to book into the one at Westwood Margate. Maybe the price was higher). It looks as if a walk around Canterbury will be our entertainment this evening.

Just goes to show what OUR Travelodge could have done. Out of your bedroom & into the ground,all in 2 minutes or down to the seaferont in 5.

 

Canterbury? Its even WORSE there than here & that sure is saying something. Good luck finding something to do or somewhere to go in Canterbury.To be fair there are some quaint pubs there & I expect thats all your'e concerned with eh?

That sounds like a good idea. Some of us are coming up on the players coach and should be there in time for a couple at least. Looking for Real Ale so we were thinking of 'The Mechanical Elephant'. I know there's a festival on at the Winter Gardens, but not keen on paying to get in if we can't stop long (and it's further from the ground).

Surely you are joking mate - It's in serious need of a complete overhaul - it's extremely dated and a waste of good drinking money IMO - It DOES have the potential to be a decent education attraction but it's at nowhere near it's potential.

Thanks to all at Margate, A fantastic day and result for us, however in the true spirit of Non League Football your supporters made us most welcome. a real enjoyable day, and Jade must be the best looking non league barmaid ever !!!

well bevvies will be able to be consumed if they stay at the new hotel - no drink and drive and if we have the new hotel we'll all be able to celebrate whatever the result - really liked the Lowestoft fans; lovely chaps with a great sense of fun (and generous - my lad has a new daft hat )
